Hello to you all , after a long silence.
This is Rosie.
My Mom asked me to write a blog post and give you all a little update as to how we are, and what we have been up to.
First of all.
My Mom is still hoping to blog at some point, but right now the Lord just has her in a place in her life where she has other priorities and has had to put blogging (and emailing) on hold. She has asked me to let you all know that she says hello, and so enjoys all your sweet and caring notes.
The BIG news.....
Many of you will remember åslaug , well, she and James are engaged!
She is a sweet, wonderful, loving, caring, godly young woman, and we are so glad to have her as part of our family.
As to the wedding, we do not know when it will be, as åslaug is still in Norway waiting for her visa to come through. As soon as it does she will be on her way, over to James, and to get ready for the big day!
Please be praying for them.
James with åslaug's parents, Anita, and Tore.
They came in April to visit our family, and to meet everyone.
(In January James, Wesley and I went to Norway, to meet åslaug's family, but that is another blog post in itself...)
I will try to get åslaug to write a post on her blog and fill you all in on the details and tell you their story, it really is amazing all that God can do!
Wesley and Claire doing good. Josie, Maggie and Georgie have all grown so much.
We see them a lot, especially since the long winter is over and it is warm outside again.
At our house we have been busy planting, swimming, cooking, reading, taking care of animals and all the other many things that happen here.
Laundry hanging on the line.
Sophia and Aimaija at the table drawing.
Aimaija shows me the necklace that she made.
James with the horses.
Eggs from our chickens
Aimaija and Celeisa, swinging on the tire swing.
Mint tea, perfect for hot summer days with ice.
Flowers that the little ladies picked.
Looking out the kitchen window.
Julia and Celeisa.
Dad and some of his girls.
I get to hold my favorite nephew ( I told you that he had grown..)
Claire and Georgie.
We were over at their house, frog hunting in the beaver pond.
Maggie.
Nicholai up on a huge root.
Stan Lee cutting the grass.
James looking happy ( but then again do you wonder why?)
Claire holding a sleeping Georgie.
Joseph at the falls.
Maggie, Celeisa and Josie all dressed up.
Doing schoolwork and pretending to be Amish girls.
.
I hope that you enjoyed seeing some pictures. Keep in mind that although most of them are new, some are old.
I will try to post more once in awhile, if my Mom is not able to, so you can see what is happening here.
Love, Rosie
